Global warming has lead to more humidity worldwide however it is still concentrated around the equator with a few exceptions(namely the Sahara desert). It is also seasonal due to weather patterns such as the Indian Ocean's typhoons coming from warm currents mixing with Antarctica's cold currents.

Travellers are advised to bring a spray bottle and extra clothes to these locales as a change of clothes and clean water makes the trip much more pleasant. Avoid tight clothes, especially latex.
